ICBN Launches Standards for Supporting Bereaved Children and Young People

The Irish Childhood Bereavement Network (ICBN) works to promote the voice of bereaved children and young people in Ireland, recognising that theirs has traditionally been the silent voice of grieving. The ICBN Standards for Supporting Bereaved Children and Young People launched in November 2017 by the Ombudsman for Children, set out a way forward for the promotion of the child or young person’s voice in Irish society, in order that their needs may be appropriately recognised & supported when they are bereaved.
