Limerick Institute of Technology and the LIT Loss and Grief Research Group along with the Children’s Grief Centre, Limerick cordially invite you to the inaugual “Children and Loss Conference” on FRIDAY JUNE 14 2019 at the Millenium Theatre, LIT Moylish.
This half-day conference is ideal for anyone who supports children professionally or personally, including teachers, SNAs, social care practitioners, social workers, legal and mediation professionals,psychologists, nurses, medical professionals, family support workers, therapists, early childhood education professionals along with parents, grandparents, foster parents, youth workers, volunteers, coaches etc. The keynote speakers and workshops are focused on best practice interventions with children experiencing loss through bereavement, separation, divorce and family rupture, and the work of the Children’s Grief Centre over the last 10 years will also be celebrated.
